This rotisserie restoration took place approximately 5 years ago and the car looks fantastic. As you can see from the photos and video no detail was left undone. The âHiPoâ engine was totally rebuilt and âhardened valve seatsâ were used for the cylinder heads so it can run on 93 octane pump gas. Along with the engine being rebuilt the transmission, rear differential, suspension, and brake system (factory front disc brakes) were all redone. All the wiring was replaced except for the rear taillight section because it still looked good. A new taillight harness comes with the car. The body appears very straight with little to know bodywork evident. It is believed that most of the body panels and floors are original. The torque boxes look exceptional. The âPony Interiorâ is original to the car and in excellent condition! The radio does work and is a factory AM unit. An extra set of matching seat covers and âfoamiesâ come with the purchase. I have listed all of the numbers from the car showing that it is a real âKâ code and that the engine is a original âKâ code engine. No documentation of the restoration is available VIN: 6F09K192549 6=1966, F=Dearborn, 09=Fastback, K=289/271 h.p.
