We have for sale a rare opportunity to purchase a 1934 Chevrolet Utility Roadster (Ute). We prefer to sell to a Museum or Collector Car facility open to the public. We would offer the Ute to this type of establishment at a SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCED price from the listing price. But then again some individual might want it so we would sell without the tax write-off. Now the vehicle; There were only two 1934 Chevrolet Roadster Ute`s of this body style produced. The only one accounted for as far as we know is this one in the United States. The vehicle engine was cast in Flint MI. and the chassis made in Ontario. It was then disassembled and shipped to GM-Holden in Australia who made the body and assembled the vehicle. The vehicle spent the next 60 years in the dry Outback Australia Desert before being imported to the US. The 6 year restoration started in 2009. We are fortunate to have over 300 documents and original pictures of the vehicle including some with the owners in Australia. We also have complete documentation of the vehicle history and complete pictured history of the build and restoration. When completed in 2015 this vehicle was shown and received the following recognition. AACA Junior First; AACA Senior First; AACA National Award; Lake Mirror Concours First in Class and Boca Raton Concours AACA Exhibit. Now that it`s showing days are over it`s time to let others enjoy this remarkable vehicle.
