Price: US $29,500.00 SOLD OUT
This 1977 GMC C1500 Sierra Classic pickup was purchased new on November 10, 1976 at Metro GMC Trucks, Inc. in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and has remained in the first ownerâs family since. The truck is finished in two-tone paint over green vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 454ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Originally built with the F44 âheavy-halfâ chassis package, the truck is equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes, 20â³ wheels, lowering suspension components, air conditioning, a cassette player, and a CB radio. The Hop Cap camper was purchased in 1977 and houses a dinette table, a sink, inward-facing bench seats, and storage cabinets. Service completed in anticipation of the sale included multiple fluid changes and replacement of the fuel pump and radiator. This GMC is offered with 1976 sales paperwork, the removed tailgate and wheels. The exterior of the truck is finished in two-tone green and white. Additional features include an aftermarket grille, extended mirrors, a sliding rear window, and chrome bumpers. The ride height has been lowered with a 2â³ front and 4â³ rear suspension drop kit, and aftermarket 20â³ wheels are finished in white with chrome accents and wear staggered-width Cooper tires. A spare wheel is mounted under the bed, and the four removed wheels are included in the sale. The bed-mounted camper cap was manufactured by Hop Cap Inc. of Bremen, Indiana, and is finished in white with green trim. It features windows on both sides and is accessible via a swing-out door on the top-hinged rear wall. The camperâs interior features an overhead roof vent, a dinette table, inward-facing bench seats, curtains, and shag carpeting. A sink basin and counter are positioned at the rear. The cab is trimmed in green with vinyl seat upholstery and a matching dash pad, carpeting, and door panels. Interior equipment consists of a Jensen cassette stereo, air conditioning, and side vent windows. An aftermarket CB radio is mounted below the dash, and a windshield cover and fire extinguisher are stored behind the seat. Instrumentation is housed in a woodgrain bezel and includes a speedometer and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The odometer shows 95k original miles. The 454ci V8 is topped with a four-barrel carburetor, and a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels. Items accompanying the sale include manufacturerâs literature and 1976 sales paperwork along with the removed tailgate and wheels. This is the perfect rig you can drive anywhere and get a ton of comments when you do. There are no disappointments with this truck!
