This automobile is an Extremely Rare find as it was manufactured by Ford for the British Embassy in Argentina. The VIN designates that the car was built in the U.S., not England, and the F designates that it was a foreign export. This Ford remained in the British Embassy through the 1940's and then sold to a local Doctor. It remained in Argentina through 2014 and was then resold to a new owner who brought the car to Georgia in the U.S. I purchased the car in 2015 and brought it to Massachusetts. The car runs, drives and stops like it should. In 2017 the mechanical brakes were replaced by Hydraulic Bendix brakes, which work way better. As can be seen in the photographs, the automobile is in extremely good condition for an 87 year old car. The body is straight and the car does not appear to ever have had any body damage. The undercarriage is remarkably clean (see photos). The new white wall tires have less then 1,000 miles on them and wheels and hubcaps are in very nice condition, including the locking hubcap on the spare tire. All windows open as they should, including the windsheild. ITEMS that a buyer may want to address. 1. Some rust on the body below the rear bumper (see photo). 2. Small piece of rubber matting missing on the rear of the driver's side running board (see photo). 3. Cowel vent in front of windshield needs to be reassembled (have all parts). As an 87 year old car, the vehicle is being sold "AS IS" with No Warranty either Expressed or Implied.
