1966 Chevrolet C-10. Fleetside, big back window. I bought this truck about 7 years ago. I drove it a while when I bought it, but it has been "in work" for most of the time I've had it. It has been lowered via springs, shocks and drop spindles. Changed over to five lug. Small C notch installed. Front power disc brakes added. Tilt steering column installed. Power steering. Aluminum gas installed under bed, electric fuel pump installed and original gas tank removed. It ran and performed well when I bought it, but it has not been cranked much or driven at all since the all that work started. I may have a video of it running during part of that time. If I can find it I will post it too. Motor is a V8. I was told it was a 350 when I bought it, but do not know the year. Exhaust has been cut of right after the header collector because it sits pretty low and the plan was to put a set of block hugger shorty headers on it which I already have for it. Turbo 350 automatic transmission on the column now-it was an auto on the floor when I bought it. Body is pretty good-not perfect. My plan was to leave it as is. I like the patina and character of it. No major rust. Some surface type rust in the usual places. Pictures tell the body story pretty well. Steelie style wheels and new Cooper tires. Rears are nicely and wide and fit well under the bed wheel wells. Bed is not attached. It was the latest project area. Was planning putting composite decking "wood" there-just haven't gotten it done. Glass is all in good shape. Top of dash was painted gray while new front windshield and rubber was being installed. Later model Silverado blue front seat sits in it ready to be bolted in. Some pictures were included to show how it looked when I first got it (sits pretty high) and during some of the work.
