The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller's Notes I’ve owned this car about 20 years, always been garaged. This car is fun to drive and I will miss it. I think it time for someone else to enjoy. Any questions please ask. I’m a self employed mechanic and this car has been my project. My family had several Corvair’s as I was growing up, so this has also been a sentimental venture for me. Vehicle Details Car is in very good shape overall. Motor completely rebuilt, with all kinds of modifications such as forged pistons, reconditioned balanced rods, new chrome cylinders, new cam & lifters, turned crankshaft, heavy duty pushrods with new rocker ams with matching ball, new carb, turbo rebuilt with HP impeller, Clark’s aluminum oil pan, Hi volume oil pump, silicone gaskets, new balanced clutch kit, all new stock exhaust, electronic ignition, change generator to high amp alternator, electric choke, all new motor & transmission mounts. Engine has about 1100 miles since rebuild. New gas tank, new fuel sending unit, new tires, new top and hydraulic motor & pump with hoses, new bumpers all new chrome on exterior all new light housings with lenses. All exterior lights & dash lights have been changed to LED so much brighter & uses less current. New carpet, new door weatherstrips. The AM radio is original but I sent it off to be converted to FM also and has amplifier installed inside radio. The rear coil springs are new and new shocks. The brakes have been completely redone with new masterclyinder & new rubber brake lines. All new wheel bearings. No rust at all underneath car. The paint job is very good but not showroom quality.
