This is an original California car. It is very pretty and certainly turns heads. Therefore be prepared that strangers will talk to you. I used it as a daily driver and to teach my children how to drive. In 2019 I shipped the car to Missouri where it is currently registered. The car just passed the safety inspection and paid the registration fees for the next two years. I also kept the original California blue plates in case someone wants to ship the car back to California and register with the original plates.The paint is original and still shines. Overall the car is in very good cosmetic and technical condition. The interior has some wear as can be seen from the pictures. Very typical for the W123 is the shrinkage of the door molding due to heat. The owner before me (I am the third owner) kept much of the original documentation including the metal data card that usually gets lost over time. This car still has it. And as unbelievable as it sounds, the original paper tags that hang from the switches on the steering wheel column when the car first sold are also still there.The car runs very well but I do want to point out that it has a minor oil leak that I did not have the time to fix. The air conditioning blows cold air as it should. Tires are almost new. I bought new tires but drove the car only infrequently ever since. I am adding to the auction some oil and air filters to get you started in case this is your first 300D. There is no vacuum leak as far as I can tell. The engine shuts off immediately when pulling the key. The central locking system works well.Please let me know if you want to know any more details or you want me to send close-ups for anything.
