Price: US $5,500.00 SOLD OUT
Selling our 1962 ford thunderbird. Found in a barn near nc/sc line. 3 owner car, last titled in 1986. Parked in 1993 where it has sat until today. Car started off life chalfonte blue, with turquoise interior. 3.00:1 rear end cruise-o-matic transmission. The car was painted black sometime between 1962 and 1986. When the third owner purchased the car, he had it painted white, âas it should have been originally.â He drove it until 1993 when he was going to work on the brakes and there it sat. He said that he "backed the car into the barn without any brakes and it just sat there until today." The body on this car is great, Iâm not going to clean this car since it is exactly as found including the cat paw prints in the 30 years of dust that has accumulated on the car, but I will take any other pictures that you like. The rear bumper and the qs have rust in them and the previous owner purchased very nice used bumper and qs to replace the ones on the car. The body has occasional small spots of rust bubling through the paint, but no major problem areas that have been found. The original hubcaps and fender skirts are in the trunk. The 390 turns over and has compression, but I have not tried to crank the car. I have left it exactly as it was found. Let me know if you have any other questions that I can answer.
