1962 Ford Falcon Futura. This Ford Falcon is a rarer Up-market Futura model. In place of a bench seat, it features twin bucket seats with the center console. The Futura model features factory installed safety-belts (recently replaced), Futura Script across the rear and sides of the car, as well as the Futura- specific Front louvered side trim, that then runs the length of the car. We just rebuilt the carburetor. She runs really smooth. Engine is a 170 CID 6-CYC, and 2-speed trans.We recently had a new exhaust system installed, from header to tailpipe. The radiator is a 3-core, new (2019). Alternator is new (NAPA) and battery (NAPA) (2021). New carpet was installed (2019) along with door panels (inc. arm rests) and stereo system. The seat belts were installed new (2019) and rear gas shocks. There are new front gas shocks for the car but not yet installed. Seats have been reupholstered, but we are not sure of when.The car does not have any rust through spots, except on the drivers side floor. We added sheet metal, molded to contour of the floor pan, sealed, and riveted it into place before the carpet was installed. There has been some body repairs to the front passenger side of the car from previous owners.All molding is intact except the rear panel (we replacement molding) and driver's door.The factory temperature in the dash always goes over to the "H" side of the gauge. We tested the cooling system and the car runs around 185 degrees during normal driving. We are not sure if the factory gauge is accurate or why it does this. We opted out of adding an aftermarket temperature gauge under the dash.Historic AZ plates are not included, and will be removed prior to pick up.We have some extra parts for the car.
