The vehicle is drivable. Vehicle Details 1972 Chevy C-10 SWB STEPSIDE JUST GOT THIS IN. RUST FREE The following is from previous owner: I have a 1972 Chevy C-10 custom, shortbed , very nice driver. I purchased the truck in San Antonio, Tx. With the V-8 motor already removed and a very nice 2004 - 5.3 LS with 4L60E overdrive transmission setting in the engine bay, but not connected. I had new tires installed in San Antonio and towed the truck to my home in south Texas. I first installed the engine and then had driveshaft made with new u-joints. I then bought new gas tank and high pressure pump in tank and installed the fuel supply under the bed. Purchased new aluminum Radiator and the dual fans and installed them . Bought new battery and took truck to computer install place and had computer and wiring installed in engine bay. New muffler and exhaust was also installed. Took truck to brake mechanic and he went through system with new booster, & brake pads, I ordered complete AC & heat aftermarket from Vintage Air in San Antonio with installed kit , I had it installed by AC place here in my town .Mechanic shop checked front suspension and replaced the shocks and new PS hoses, has power steering, power brakes , AC, and heat. This is a Central Texas truck and body & frame show no signs of rust . The 5.3 LS conversion is complete and has been driven about 200 miles to test drive . It has a stand alone GPS speedometer that works fine , but it is surface mount. Should have a nice digital dash installed to be more compatible with the LS engine. The radio is original, but not hooked up. It is a wonderful daily driver. It drives like new . It is much to fast for me . Most everything is updated. Who ever buys it will add the extra things to make it personal to them. and really dress it out, I am private owner, not dealer. Pickup is located NOW near FT. MORGAN, COLORADO. Has a clear clean Colorado Title Interior is Very nice. I have no use for a truck at this time as i am working on another project I am sure little things . It is a driver.
