You are bidding on a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am, 6.6L, Texas Car, Great Classic Car!This is a newly restored true 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with the Pontiac 400 engine. Sorry the numbers do not match. This was a stripped to the metal restoration, see pictures of the floor boards replaced. I bought this car to restore from the ground up and wanted to make it a solid daily driver. The Transmission is new just 2 weeks ago. AC is all new and works. There a so many new parts that I cant list them all (everything from radiator, transmission, complete AC, interior, axles, fuel tank, pump, so much to list). The notable parts that have not been replaced are the dash and seat covers. The bumpers are the originals and the front has small spider cracks at the headlight corners and the rear bumper has a tear near the bottom. The blemishes are small, they exist. See pictures. When I bought parts for this car, I tried to take it back to original when possible to maintain the original look. The engine has not been worked on, but was obviously rebuild prior to me buying it as it has roller rockers and has a noticeable lumpy idle from a cam. I purchased a new carb that matched original OEM part, Rochester 4 bbl, and will likely need someone to dial it in perfectly.
