This is a crazy cool and rare car. Looks like a 37 LaSalle mixed with the infamous 30s Ford roadsters. There are very few of these cars left, this one is very rare being a US import model. There were 200 convertibles originally sold in the US and 11-13 still survive. Very sought after cars in the UK and can be exported easily. This cars so fun to drive, starts up immediately, turns heads and draws a crowd instantly wherever you may take it. The proportions are big looking but yet the car is small…about the size of a VW beetle. Still sporting its original drivetrain, runs like a sewing machine and shifts perfectly. Has plenty of zip for the little flathead 4cylinder. Unique 4 forward speeds with shifter on the column “tree†with reverse. 5 total gears I replaced all the brake shoes, wheel cylinders and master cylinder with original NOS parts. New tires, tubes, and flaps also installed at the same time. Since there is no water pump (operates like early model T) Radiator was pressure checked/cleaned and reinstalled. There is very very little rust, a few spots have rusted through in the floor pans.
