I previously purchased this Buick from an eBay seller in FL. Unfortunately, we had difficulty finding a trucker to haul it to NY. Due to the delay, my customer had a change of mind and decided to let it go. The car is currently stored at a storage faciltiy. Please see below the description listed by previous owner. Hello you are looking at a 1971 Buick Riviera. For Parts or Restoration.I will tell you everything that I know about it. I've owned it for about 5 years and its my dream car. Would make a fun rat rod. I was in a car accident that left me with broken legs, so I don't have the strength to restore it. Car is in rough shape, just know that before continuing reading this. Any questions are welcomed I just might not have the answer for technical questions. Car was a Kansas barn find. Engine is Factory 455 cubic inches. V8. 42060 original miles. The paint is original but appears to be clear coated and starting to bubble. Car has rust spots and a scrape on the passenger side. Some of the pin stripe has come off and the hardtop leather has come off. Glass is in great shape, no cracks or chips. Back bumper has a dent and chrome is lifting off on the passenger side. Floor on inside is rusting out and there are large holes in it. The trunk also has holes on the far left and right. Seats need new upholstery and a new headliner. I put gas straight into the carb. It runs strong. Never put car into gear to move it. Needs brakes and gas lines repaired. no muffler. Acorns on passenger side floorboard. Electrical seems to be fine but there is no battery. Tires are brand new. Rally wheels with all 4 center caps. 2 wire rims in trunk that I was told were rare. Head in trunk came with the car but doesn't go to it. Spare rally rim in back. Missing the drivers side handle, I bought a new one and comes with it. Ashtray removed and is in trunk as well. Max Trac option included. Steering wheels appears to be chewed on by something. Clean Title. Door liners are rough. Back seat no tears but dirty. Dash has cracks. License plate, plate is rusty but I bought a new one and its in the trunk. Car will have to be towed obviously.
