The vehicle is drivable and is not regularly driven. Vehicle Details 1940 Chevy Special Deluxe 4 door with suicide rear doors. The motor starts and runs good it is a 216 (6) cylinder. The car does not smoke. The transmission is a 3 speed on the column that shifts good. I have drove the car on the road and driveline feels solid. The car has some new brake lines on it, but you have to pump the brakes up to get brakes. It probably needs a new master cylinder kit. I did not see any brake fluid leaks. We have a new split windshield, side windows with new rubber seals. Most of the trim is there but needs to be polished. There is some new trim with it. I believe we have all the door handles and window cranks. There is new carpet with the sound deadened. Have the new headliner to put in. Front and rear seats have new upholstery. The clock is missing. I have the heater motor for it, wiper arms, headlight buckets. The car will has a new battery in it. I was told when I bought the car it had a new gas tank. The body on the car does not look bad. I know there is some bondo on the car. It has had some metal patchwork done. The paint is approximately 10 years old, and has never been buffed. There are chips in the paint, but they are not bad. I would call the car a 20 footer. A friend of mine started restoring this years ago and passed away. It has been sitting in a garage for years.
