1972 Lotus Twin Cam project: body shell in good condition in original red paint. Excellent 336 4-speed type chassis. No original Twin Cam engine, comes with Ford Zetec 2.0 engine from 1996 Contour, low mileage, with flywheel and mounts fabbed to use stock mounts. Twin Cam bellhousing which adapts Ford engine to Renault gearboxes like 336, 352, 365, NG1 and NG3, already fitted with NG input shaft bearing. Bare NG1 gearbox to use for mocking gearbox mounts etc. This comes with a ton of parts including brand new in box windshield, window frames, suspension and brake parts (see list): as I am just finishing up a Twin Cam Special I have come to realize I can't do another one at my age and so am reluctantly parting with this as a project. If you have done a Europa in the past, like an S2, think of this as a blank slate - you can do whatever brake, suspension and drivetrain mods as you want instead of being limited by an already put together, more stock car. This will weigh about 1,500 pounds - think of the potential! Located in my storage unit in Marshall, VA 20115. Body rolls on dolly. You will need a truck and a couple people to load everything.
