Up for sale is a pristine, original unrestored 1966 Chevy Nova SS with the desirable L79 and M21 close ratio 4-speed manual transmission with 3.73 axle - a drag racers dream! This vehicle has 7,815 original, unrestored miles and is finished in Marina Blue Metallic with matching interior. This vehicle has been driven approximately 300 miles since it was purchased in 1998. The vehicle has a clean Illinois title in hand, as well as the original build sheet and manuals. The drivers side build sheet is in a folder, and one is in the passenger seat. A photocopy was made of the removed build sheet, and is attached in the photos. This car was previously owned by Reggie Jackson, and there are numerous copies of the vehicle title and registration from his ownership that will be included in the sale. This vehicle was in a few magazine articles (included with sale) and has a perfect vehicle history. There are a few added parts to this vehicle; gauges, high-torque starter, a new shift knob, and headers were all added under Mr. Jackson's ownership. The original starter will be included in the sale as well. This vehicle did receive a new gas tank in 1998, and the hood was professionally repainted to correct a hand depression on it in 1998 as well. The vehicle color matches flawlessly, and there are no paint lines/orange peel/color mismatch. A friend of mine is personal friends with Mr. Jackson, and Mr. Jackson remembers this vehicle well. Attached is also a text message from Reggie, noting that he added the tach & gauges in the car. He did mention in a phone call that this is the “most original, super-low mileage Nova SS he has ever seenâ€. This vehicle runs and drives without issue. It has been stored in a climate-controlled and humidity controlled garage for the last 25 years and is looking for its next enthusiast owner. This vehicle is one of few original Nova’s in this pristine condition with the holy L79/4-speed manual combination.
