Up for bid is a 1948 REO SPEEDWAGON PICKUP TRUCK. It is a ultra rare D-19 series short 125" wheelbase chassis. Only has 33660 miles on it but not certain if it originally a pickup or a van box. The box on it is era correct but not original for this Reo. This truck has beautiful patina and is RUSTFREE with the exception of a small quarter size area as shown in the 12th picture. Some of the hood chrome is missing but easy to source as the bigger trucks used the same pieces. It runs good(no engine knock or rattle and it does not smoke at all) but the brakes need attention. Three of the tires hold air and they all roll fine for loading. The short wheel base Reo's are almost impossible to find these days and it is a great truck for restore. It has a Province of Manitoba title and I can arrange transportation to Pembina ND, 58271, which is the closest Port of Entry to the USA. Please message me if you have any questions.
