1968 442 Convertible SurvivorThis is a really nice running, driving and sounding survivor. Number's matching 400 engine is excellent, Turbo 400 trans has been rebuilt and It's rust free with no panel replacements.This car has been stored for a long time and the man never drove it much. There is a new gas tank, new rear bumper, new battery, new rear coil over shocks and new tires. The gentleman replaced the driver's side exhaust manifold with a new one from OPGI because the flapper was stuck. He said he had to buy the pair, so the passenger side is in a box in the trunk. It has new dual exhaust and chrome tips.The interior is original, and the dash still looks like new.No rust issues on this car. There are some surface rust spots on the front bumper. Looks like there was a repaint years back with a lacquer or single stage paint. Looks good, but not perfect.The top will need to be replaced (look at picture). Power top works well. This car cruises so nice and drives really well that I was going to replace the top this winter. Leave the top down, drive it this summer and fix the other stuff this winter.A/C will need to be charged from sitting so long. The blower isn't working.
