For sale is my 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler. 13,496 Cyclones were produced in 1970. 1,631 units were Cyclone Spoilers. She has the original numbers matching 429 Cobra Jet engine that has been professionally rebuilt with roller rockers and a larger cam. Recent transmission work including new torque converter and pump. New rear end. New shocks. New exhaust. The sound of the exhaust alone will put a smile on your face. Drives nice and straight down the road with sufficient power to set you back in the seat. No rattles or strange noises. Transmissions shifts perfectly. Power front disc brakes. Power steering. One repaint in the original color of Competition Blue. Paint is very nice however you will find some minor chips from normal use. Body is super straight. Chrome is very good. The trim on the front of the hood does have a few dings. I have a box full of receipts from all the work that has been done over the years and shop manuals that go with the car. I have titles from previous owners. Maine is a "no title" state for cars of this age. Will be sold with transferable registration in my name and titles from previous owners. Also comes with deluxe Marti Report. All lights are working. The air conditioning system was replaced in 2015 (cost $5995 receipt included) but will need a recharge as it is not that cold. Heater control cable will need to be replaced. Tachometer is not functioning (haven't looked into that). Horn does not work. Not perfect, but a gorgeous car that will surely take a trophy at any local car show. If you don't like lots of attention, this is probably not the car for you. Currently registered and driven on weekends. Price is fair and firm. Third party inspections are welcomed.
