I have decided to sell my 1964 Chevelle Convertible Super Sport and pass it on to someone else that can really enjoy this true classic.This is a REAL Super Sport as denoted by the VIN number! If you want an affordable classic convertible that you can hop in at any time and go anywhere without a problem, this one is for you. The 283 V8 was rebuilt internally and the automatic powerglide transmission was also gone through and rebuilt at the previous owners expense. The drivetrain still retains its originality without any aftermarket upgrades. Mechanically wise I have not had a problem at all this summer while cruising it around many miles. The drive is great in this car it really does float! Very reliable and has always started right up for me.Fly in and drive it home if you want!The heat and defrost both work as well as the adjustment setting for the blower motor.The convertible top cover will need to be replaced as I had ripped it putting it back up. I received a few quotes of $750 to replace the top. I didn't replace the top as I was considering selling it and I would rather the buyer choose what color they want to replace the top with. The top mechanically wise goes down, up, and locks in fine.Interior bucket seats and back seat are in good condition. The body is in decent condition but will need to be repainted to be perfect. There are some scratches, fading paint, etc. this is mainly a driver not a trailer queen...but gets many compliments anywhere I go and should be driven/enjoyed. There are some small pin holes on the hood and in the trunk there are some small holes on the trunk pan from what I can see. Nothing major in my opinion.
