Price: US $37,500.00 SOLD OUT
I fell in love with the Honda S800 and wanted to get one. But, they were never imported here to the United States. After some searching, I connected with someone in the Netherlands and decided to try my luck and import a car for the first time. I documented and made a YouTube video series following the entire process here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjZlZTcYUGvPuzB3Dt0pAYJBKJaLOQZphThe main reason I liked this particular S800 is because it was restored partway. The chassis and body are in great shape. Someone took the time to redo the chassis and paint it. Some new suspension components were added, as well. BUT...I was in for a surprise. When I got the car, all the parts were put in the car for shipping. It took me two days to remove everything and to do an inventory. As I removed everything, I found that no one cataloged or organized the bolts to the engine. I made a video about that in detail: https://youtu.be/fjZ6am1FUlM The car is amazing and it really makes me sad to sell it, but I simply do not want to take on that level of a project.Everything was removed. Every bolt and every washer, trim and molding, but all of it was just thrown in boxes. The good thing is, it looks like I have everything but the camshafts and the cam covers (seller said he would ship them to me). So, this is not for someone like me, and I will stress that this is not for someone who does not have the time or doesn't know how to embark on a project like this. I have started to organize the parts so that the new owner will have an easier time getting started. The body is in great shape. It has a few dings that can be removed and I am working on removing some tape residue that was put on for shipping. Some of the paint was damaged on both sides under the doors due to the tape, and there are some dings from shipping. Please see photos.I have all the import paperwork and everything is on hand. I am not going to title it or register it. This is a unique and rare car. I hope you find this information useful. Please let me know if you have any questions. Car must be picked up. There are too many parts to put back in the car without hurting it.In good faith, I hold the right to not sell this car if someone is not familiar with it or doesn't know how to work on these cars. I do not want to put someone in a similar situation as I did to myself.
