This 1979 Chevrolet K10 Cheyenneis a half-ton pickup that is finished in Mystic Silver & Red Special Two-Tone over red/silver upholstery, and it is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, manually-locking front hubs, dual fuel tanks, and a Delco AM/FM push-button radio. The truck was purchased in 1980 by my grandfather and was his daily driver. Subsequent work included a rebuild of the transmission, a new clutch, a rebuild of AC components, spark plugs, ignition wires, and an air filter. This has a clean TN title.The truck is finished in Mystic Silver with Red Accents and features a chrome grille, aftermarket front bumper, and side mirrors, as well as an aftermarket chrome rear bumper and receiver hitch with backup lights. The right-side rocker panel was replaced due to being sideswiped. The factory Cheyenne 15″ steel wheels with polished trim rings are mounted to Geotrac Patagonia A/T tires. Manually-locking front hubs are fitted up front, and braking is handled by drums at all four corners.The cab features a red vinyl bench seat with a matching upper dash, door panels, and carpets. Appointments include hand-crank windows, lap belts, a heater, and a Delco AM/FM push-button radio. A dash-mounted switch controls the dual fuel tanks. Some interior pieces could be replaced.A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and ancillary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles. True mileage is 254k as the odometer has flipped twice.The 350ci V8 was factory rated at 175 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine runs strong but has 254k miles.Power is sent to all four wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
