The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details Reluctantly listing my 1985 Mercedes 280ge up for sale. I believe it is a Europa car. Car is grey and has the original Recaro Plaid interior. Car shows 85,xxx miles but has more miles on it. 6 cylinder gas engine (m110) with a manual transmission. I’ve owned the car for about 5 years and have done countless mechanical (in additional to regular maintenance) upgrades to it including: Head gaskets and valves and covers. Fuel lines, fuel pump and fuel filter Brake lines, calipers and pads Warm up regulator Injectors, wires, plugs Electrical (lights) etc Battery. Car starts, drives and stops just fine but needs some tlc. Car has some rust spots on the windshield, along the rocker, the driver floor pan has a hole and the rear and front fender- basically everywhere these cars are known to rust. I have the rocker below the door and rear fenders. Car needs a wiper motor and idles a bit high at the moment once it warms up. Drivers seat has a rip. The radio charges a phone but doesn’t play music. It’s a solid car that will go through anything.
