Ford MStunning- Gorgeous- Nasty- 1969 Mach 1 Mustang I am selling my 69' Mach 1 for family financialissues (relative going into memory care). A husband and wife did much of the restorationin 2015 & 2016. The car belonged to the wife's father, who owned it fordecades out of Los Angeles, California (after the wife's father passed, her andher husband acquired the car and in total, has been in the family for 35 yearsif I remember correctly). In memory of her father, they restored the vehicleinto its current condition. It was Candy Apple Red, produced from the Dearbornplant. The Paint was upgraded to HOUSE OF KOLOR Candy Apple Red, which added anamazing flake finish that is UNREAL looking in the sun. The interior was alwayswhite and reupholstered in 2015. The Engine and Transmission are NumbersMatching and were completely rebuilt. In all, there is almost $75K in strictly upgrade& restoration costs (not even including what this vehicle would have costprior to restoration in really nice condition- I've seen basic/original Mach1's that are driver quality in the $40K's & $50K's), then add $75K inupgrades/restoration to that. This car was really nice before, but they wantedit to be the best. Numbers Matching Engine & Transmission351 Windsor was pulled and sent to a speed shopfor rebuild, where heads were ported & polished and the block was balanced& blue printed. FMX Transmission was fully rebuilt to handle theengine. Both Engine & Transmission are numbers matching and have roughly6,000 miles on them. 57K original miles on odometer -Edelbrock Manifold-Upgraded Cam-Headman Headers-Holly Double Pump Carburetor -Engine Bay is STUNNING, underside of hood waspainted to match-$18K House of Kolor paint job (3 coats OrionSilver underneath and 8 coats of Kandy Apple Red)-Front and rear bumper were painted to match-the paint job is Ridiculous-Functioning hood scoop-Side ported flowmaster series 10 exhaustthrough custom Fiberglass Rockers. There are side cutouts under the car if youwant to run straight Headers. The exhaust is awesome as is, but you can reallymake it loud for a show entrance-The lower corners of the door jams do haveextremely minor stress cracks in the fiberglass rockers (It happens withfiberglass). Nobody has ever pointed them out and I only see them I when getdown on my knees, even though I know they are there. You won't even be able totell in the pictures.-Vintage AC- Ice Cold-Custom 18" wheels-Upgraded head unit w/aux chord rear speakersand subwoofer in trunk- 2 Amps power the system-Car was dyno matted during restoration-4 wheel SSBC stainless & slotted discsbrakes and lines-Upgraded front to Tubular upper and lowercontrol arms, sway bar, and coil over suspension-The Rack & Pinion steering system wasadded. A Kasse Boss 429 engine was being contemplated down the road so the BigBlock Rack & Pinion was installed in case the engine swap was done down theroad. So if you wanted to install a nasty big block down the road, the Rack& Pinion shouldn't have to be changed out. The car performs amazing, soundsunbelievable, is fast and Numbers Matching, so there were second thoughts onthe engine swap.ustang.
