For sale is a 1957 Ford Thunderbird convertible, all original with a D-Code 312 cubic-inch engine (245 HP) with a three-speed manual transmission w/overdrive. The car is black with a black and white interior and a white convertible roof. It has 5 factory wire wheels with wide whitewall radial tires. Also included in the sale is a set of 5 original Thunderbird steel wheels, with wide-whitewall bias-ply tires and OEM Thunderbird hubcaps.The soft top is clean and free of leaks. Also included are two porthole-equipped hardtops, one black and one white, both in excellent condition. Interior is clean and free of any tears,stains, or blemishes. Carpeting has been replaced and all gauges, electronics, clock and heater function normally. Glass is all intact, with no cracks or scratches.Trunk is clean and rust-free.Exterior paint and body condition are excellent, with no dents or scratches. The chrome is beautiful and free of rust or pitting. Body panels are straight and the doors open and close smoothly with no sag.The car was purchased by me as a Covid project after sitting (unused and protected) in a garage for about 12 years. It has been refurbished with many new parts including rear leaf springs,U-joints, an HD stabilizer bar (original bar included), Holley 4-barrel carb,fuel pump, electronic ignition (original parts included), belts and gaskets, and much more. I believe the car has 104K miles on it although the odometer reads 4K. The engine runs smoothly and quietly, and does not smoke. Starts instantly and idles like new. Overall this Thunderbird is in excellent shape, with a few minor issues* here and there but no dings or dents. It gets many compliments on its appearance and condition. I am the third owner.
