Price: US $24,900.00 SOLD OUT
1956 Chevrolet "Car Show Winner" with No Reserve. 265 Chevy small block with 700R4 automatic transmission on the floor. The absolute finest interior/upholstery seating/headliner anywhere. New American Racing 5-spoke chrome tires and new Coker Classic Wide White-Wall tires + 5th spare. New front disc brakes, the glass is exceptional with no chips or cracks. Most of the chrome, from the classic '56 bird, to the bumpers, etc. have been double dipped rechromed, better than new--mirror like finish.Paint (older restoration) is white and plum combination. The interior paint is matching plum and looks beautiful. Has some exterior paint rust bubbles in places. Badges have Belair, yet clean title says 210. Most of the rebuild has been within the past week to 4 years. The engine is a rebuilt 265 small block Chevy w/Edelbrock intake manifold and Edelbrock 600 4-barrel Carburetor with a wicked bad Air Scoop that matches the custom valve covers. It also has a recently new Vintage Air AC and heating unit. The dual exhaust system is paired with 12" glass packs, purrs at idle, but makes a statement when accelerating. Glides down the freeway with ease and because of the 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive, it's only ~2000 rpm at 70 mph. This is a 100% garage kept, gorgeous classic 3 owner car that's been in my family since 1989. It runs beautifully and gets lots of attention.
