1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. 402 Big Block, Turbo 400 transmission, 12 Bolt Posi Rear differential with 3.31 gearing. Car has working power windows, cold 134A A/C, AM-FM, AUX Retosound with din plug for your phone. Power Front Disc Brakes and Power Steering, Engine is basically stock with the exception of a small camshaft, GM style HEI ignition and an Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor with electric choke. Exhaust is a Flowmaster sounding factory 2/1/2" dual using XLERATOR brand Mufflers exiting out factory chrome tips. Car has newer rear ciol spring, new shock absorbers and newer brakes including front calipers. Car rides on new Cooper Cobra radial GT size 225-70R-15 at all 4 corners. I don't know much about the drivetrain other than it having only minimal miles according to the previous owner. I've owned the car for just over a year. I purchased it on a fluke to attend the 2022 GM Nationals in Carlisle, PA. As history has it. The car was awarded 1st place in the stock class division by the Carlisle judges. The placard goes with the car. I thought that to be pretty impressive. Car drives good, shifts nice and starts right up when used on a regular basis. No noises or strange sounds, no real leaks to mention. Just a nice looking (as you can see from the photos) and driving Monte that needs nothing to be enjoyed and admired at any car cruise or show.
