The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details This 1969 Z/28 camaro is a 3 owner vehicle. I am the 3rd owner and the main assembler/restorer. This vehicle started life in the Van nuys factory and was sold brand new at the Friendlys Chevrolet dealership in Dallas TX. The original owner sold it to Bruce Goodin of Edmond Oklahoma in the early 70âs. Mr. Goodin passed on in the late 90âs and his nephew Travis ended up with the car but never registered it and attempted to finish his uncles restoration he had begun in the mid 80âs. I purchased the vehicle from Travis in 2021. It had not been registered since 1982 until August of this year. The original color was Green with white stripes but as you can see was switched to hugger orange with black stripes. The nephew was an alum of Oklahoma State and almost every car he owned was orange and black. The 302 engine was balanced and blueprinted by Boydâs racing engines in Norman OK in the early 80âs. When this was done the dz code on the stamp pad was removed. As with LA built Camaros there was no code for verification of its true Z/28 birth. Engine had not been fired until I got the car. I had all the gaskets replaced and the entire engine gone through by Rods auto in Merriam KS. It is the original engine. I desperately tried all the tricks to bring out the numbers on the engine pad to no avail. Just recently upgraded the MSD ignition system to the latest version. It would be easier to say what is not new. If itâs not new it was thoroughly cleaned and inspected. This entire car is basically new. There is no rust anywhere. I did put a custom upgraded stereo system which looks factory as well as speakers. It drives straight and true. 12 to 1 compression, domed pistons. This car was made for the quarter mile run. All Z/28 options, factory gauges, no air conditioning. The usual. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I have original registration paperwork from the late 70âs to early 80âs and title. I do have the contact information of the Nephew Travis for whomever wins the auction. I am located in the Kansas City area. Videos Exterior Interior Engine Download the eBay Motors app
