Price: US $85,000.00 SOLD OUT
I purchased this vehicle from the second owner with 59,500 documented miles on it. It had been in dry storage for 16+ years. During the past 2 years it has been completely disassembled (excluding the motor & trans.) Professionally repainted in it's original color, Bahia Red - code 13-13 with all glass, doors, trunk and hood removed. All rubber seals & hoses replaced. The fuel tank was 'cooked' and re-sealed / undercoated. All brake pistons and fuel lines replaced. New master cylinder, rotors were turned with new brake pads, new front wheel bearings and seals, new Bosch starter, (2) new Interstate 911 batteries, all torsion arm bushings replaced, the motor and trans were completely detailed. The trans was media blasted and clear coated. New clutch, CV joints, all shifter bushing components replaced, media blasted, front tire rod ends replaced....the list goes on & on. The vehicle has the original Boge shocks in the front and Koni shocks in the rear. The original Blaupunkt radio has been re-fitted with a replaceable indicator bulb. All lights and accessories, gauges etc. (even the clock & rear window defroster) are in working order. The heat exchangers and muffler have been 'ceramic coated'. The magnesium value covers have been replaced with aluminium ones and virtually stopped oil leaks. The vehicle currently has the 'black" trim turn signal lens but I hav ALL the original parts for this vehicle. The interior is pristine and features new German square weave carpet. New sill plates as well. Almost all of the replaced parts were purchased from Stoddard. New front and rear window trim as well. (4) beautiful....NON re-furbished Fuch's 6x15" wheels with brand new Goodyear Eagle GT - 205/15 tires. Most of the original factory undercoating was removed to inspect for rust and the re-coated with Eastman and 3M professional stage 4 undercoating. This vehicle comes with a COA from Porsche, completely original tool kit (complete except for one reproduction 10,000 volt straight blade screwdriver), and original jack. There are numerous other details that I'm omitting but the bottom line is that this is one of the best examples of a just short of a 'non rotisserie' restoration that you will find. I have all the receipts for the above mentioned. I'm in the process of putting together a web site listing with many photos of the 'work in progress' and the completed vehicle. I have listed this vehicle locally and reserve the right to end this auction at any time as the Barrett Jackson and other auctions are in town in the coming weeks. Thank you for your interest and please refer to my 'feedbck' with any questions!
