1973 Mach 1 mustang, rebuilt 351 cleveland V8. motor has under 4000 miles on a complete rebuild. the motor was rebuilt & car was driven for about 1 year and transmission quit working with no warning. it just quit ! no slipping, no fluid loss, it just quit ! after that the car sat for approximately 10-12 years outside. Has a C6 automatic transmission. the transmission needs to be rebuilt. Could be the front pump ? When you put the transmission in gear it will not move, forward or backward. Motor starts up and sounds good. it started right up after sitting all that time. all i did was pour a little gas in carburator put a fresh battery in it. ad it fired right up and idled smooth, no smoke, i was very impressed ! the car had new carpet and headliner installed just before motor was rebuilt. but the headliner is hanging down a little from sitting, carpet is still excellent. the car has your typical rust in typical places for a 73 mach 1. lower quarters, floor boards trunk pan, inner fender wells, look at pics ! if you want a car with no rust, this is not the car for you ! this car would make a good daily driver with transmission fixed. this is not a show car. this is an unrestored car. this car needs a complete restoration ! the weld draglight wheels on the rear do not go with car ! i have 2 more tires and wheels just like front tires and wheels that go on rear for buyer of car. the tires are almost new. the wheels are vintage keystone classic raiders i think ? it looks like the fuel tank has a small leak in it. the interior needs redone. the dash looks good. this car is licensed and insured in my name. i will offer it for sale, but will not give the car away. reason for selling, wife wants a 2010 up camaro ss, so im selling 2 of my muscle cars. i am selling this car as is . thanks for bidding. for any questions call 870-504-1724
