You are bidding on a completely restored 1950 Chevy Bel Air with a 1996 Buick Roadmaster engine and transmission and a 1968 Mustang posi differential. It has an Old Air A/C system and the Buick front power disk brakes and the Ford drum rears. The car has an original color combination although it has been trimmed in a personal way, meaning the rear fender well are contrasting the body color which was not done in 150 Chevy but was done on the Pontiac version. This is a recreation of my first car done in the way I would have liked to do it originally . Added detail information (1/15/15): This automobile had a complete frame off restoration. Frame was blasted and painted. New shocks, brake lines, springs, front end, were installed during this process. I have digital photo's of most of the process that I can make available upon request. Engine: 5.7 liter (LT-1) from a 1996 Buick Roadmaster All related electronic computer control devices were kept with engine/transmission Transmission: 4 speed automatic (700 R-4) from same 1996 Buick Roadmaster Rear end: Ford Mustang posi differential with 3.0 - 1 drive ratio Rear has custom Chevrolet axles Chassis: Original stock 1950 Chevrolet chassis completely stripped and painted All new brake lines, shocks, springs, etc. Steering: Mustang II front end and suspension installed Manual steering with Borgeson steering shafts/couplers Brakes: 13" Chevrolet disc brakes and spindles in the front standard Chevrolet performance drum brakes in the rear Electrical: Complete E-Z wiring harnesses professionally installed Interior: Complete new interior fabricated and professionally installed New Dolphin Shark gauges Paint and Body: Car was stripped to bare metal, etch primed, painted, sanded and buffed. Paint and body was done about 1 1/2 years ago. This is NOT a bondo queen.
