1972 Triumph TR6 Project First off I will say that I think the Triumph Tr6 is one of the most undervalued Classic British Sports Cars available today. I have owned lots of them through the years. I also think they are the best car that Triumph ever made. (I have owned the others also TR3 etc.) I bought this car around 2 years ago and planned a restoration. We are buying a house now so this car, and another one must go. It still has a 1981 Virginia inspection in the windshield! It was needless to say owned for a long time. This TR6 is very solid with very little rust. If someone tells you that theirs doesn't have any, "be very sceptical." The Red with Tan combination has always been one of the most popular colors. T he paint is acceptable for a driver. (There are plenty on the road not as nice). The interior is old, and has needs but is usable. The black convertible top is very old and worn but I bought a new one . * I bought new carpet which is included. The interior panels are old but usable. The dash needs attention as most do but that is very easy. I have an old wood facia that is included. Under the hood, the cars inline six sounds good but should be serviced of course. The 4-speed manual transmission seems to be very good. The brakes need to be rebuilt as they are down , but the emergency brake works fair. I will include a master cylinder rebuild seal kit. The wheels have redline tires, but are very old. They do hold air. It does have a spare with redline also. If I can think of anything else I will add it to the description. Keep in mind that this car is over 40 years old and is a project that can not be driven safely in its current condition. Please ask all questions BEFORE bidding.
