I purchased this car about six months ago as a winter project since I had always wanted to own a Lotus 7 and this was a very inexpensive way to test the waters. After a little work and a full refresh and safety inspection by my local track car workshop it is ready to get back on the track or autocross course. I toyed with the idea of getting it fully street legal (which wouldn't take much) but though I would do this car a disservice to this "brutally" raw race car. I drive it at least once every two weeks when the weather is warm and I am a regular at Cars & Coffee here in Richmond, Va. The engine is very strong and sounds fantastic, a real crowd pleaser. This car based on an improved design of the Lotus 7, with american parts, a reliable high powered engine and a stronger frame.
