This is one of the finest "Old School" Pro-Street Willys offered for sale in todays market. You can pay more (a lot more), but won't get any more bang for the buck, than this rocket. This classic was built with a A&C glass body, and is powered by a BBC 454cu.in. w/Rect Port Aluminum heads, and a Wieand Blower. This Willys was professionally built in California, and we bought it last year from a broker in Texas. The car was great, but we wanted to update it with some great options: The Holley 750 carbs are new...as is the Holley Electric fuel pump, MSD Coil, MSD Distributor and Side dump exhaust system. We found a wonderful set of Vintage Mickey Thompson Valve covers, with finned tops...very rare and much sought after. We also found a vintage (rare) Mr. Gasket 3-port intake Scoop. It's one of the originals...with the engraved name on the top front. The big upgrade and power boost comes from our addition of the Big Wieand Blower, and a new set of Rect-Port Aluminum heads. All the shop work was assigned to HALLETT MOTORSPORTS, here in Michigan. Bill is the Guru for all Big Block Blown motors....simply the best. His pro-funny cars run in the low 7's... Some of the basic goodies include: AUTOMETER Gauges. MOSER Axles. Mickey Thompson "Sportsman" grabbers on the backend. Ford 9" rear. 4:11 Ratio gearing. IDIDIT Steering column and Chrome Steering Wheel. New Black Powder coated exhaust headers. 4 Wheel Disc Brakes. New battery w/trickle. This car is cold blooded and anyone wanting to add Vintage Air-Conditioning...wouldn't have any problems. We turned this "show" Willys into a very fast road warrior... it's breathtakingly fast.
