This is a project car in original condition ready for restoration or retro-mod. It is an original 1961 full sunroof Bug. Body panels are in excellent shape except for the left rear fender. The car comes with a replacement fender. Body pan has two small areas of rust under the driverâs seat and the battery compartment, both repairable without replacing large pan sections. Drive train is all with the car. The transaxle condition is unknown and Engine is out of the car and disassembled. The only know major parts that are missing are the running boards and the front glass needs replacement. This car is a southwest car and was in the process of restoration when parked many years ago. The paint appears to be original. There are several boxes of new parts ready for installation, to include the upholstery kit, sunroof material and carpets. There are many new parts for the motor to include new jugs and pistons, crank, heads with valves and many small parts. Comes with one new bumper still in the bubble wrap. All seats are intact and need re-upholstered. The car has the original VW radio.
