As you can see from the pictures, this vehicle is is excellent condition. I lost the key and had an old timer come and make a replacement key. He couldn't help repeating how good of a condition it is in. No frame rust. I have called Jasper for a quote on an engine, they quoted me roughly $2,600, shipped to a local Jasper installer anywhere in the country. I "think" if you send the core back you receive $400 back. This also included ALL electrical wiring, hoses, belts. It has a Holley 6 bbl carb. Interior is fair. Headlines is intact, carpet is decent. Wipers and all other electrics work, radio, heat. Seats could be reupholstered, I used seat covers. Steering is tight, brakes and tires are excellent. Head turner in Schenectady, NY for sure. Lots of walk up compliments. I had come from a restaurant where I had 1 vodka tonic with dinner and a police officer started following me. I was thinking "Great", this will not be fun (I would have been well under the limit but, still puts some fear in the heart). Anyway, he followed me home through the Stockade in Schenectady which has lots of 1 ways and twists and turns. When I got home he said "I hope I didn't scare you but, that Cherokee is beautiful, my Dad used to have one". We spoke of it and he actually asked to go for a drive in it. We traded and a week later he let me do a ride along...that was fun! The mileage listed is not actual as the title says it is "EXEMPT". With the "Buy it Now" Price plus $2800 or so, you will be the proud owner of a Classic, rare Cherokee Chieh, emblems and all. This is not a Wagoneer and is 2 door. Original Paint.
