Up for auction is a 1965 El Camino. The El Camino has always been a California Car with original black and yellow license plates. Looks to be the original 283 motor. It was originally three on the tree and now has a Muncie four speed. Many new parts have been installed. It is not running or driving at this time. The motor does turn over and begins to start with a cup of gas poured into the carb. Lights are working, as wel as the turn signals. The wiring will need some looking at. If buyer is outside of California I will be keeping the original plates. Thanks for looking. New Parts: Fuel pump Plugs Wires Gas Tank - straps- filter Oil filter and oil New Radiator Hoses Reconditioned Radiator Bench Seat from 1968 El Camino Bed trim shown in photos and in box The car has some rust in the u sual areas. Front and back windows. Floor on drivers side could be repaired or replaced, passenger side looks to be replaced but not the best job. Hell hole will need to be replaced or repaired and also behind the bench seat. Frame looks to be in good condition. Some of the bed trim will still need to be installed; the two corners and also the two long pieces. I purchased the El Camino as a project. I am selling the car as I do not have the time to continue. This would be a good father-son project.
