1970 Duramax C-10 Diesel Conversion. Professional frame off restoration with new 2007 GM LBZ Duramax Diesel and Allison 6 speed automatic transmission by (Pacific Performance Engineering) PPE. Truck was built for the SEMA show and to be daily driven and or raced at the track. 732HP @1321 FT/LB torque, 11.2 second at 128MPH 1/4 mile, all while getting an amazing 30MPG. GM 11.5" 3500 rear differential with 3.54 gear ratio and Detroit lockers, heavy duty drive shaft with beefy 1410 U joints, 20 gallon aluminum rear mounted diesel fuel tank, 275 AMP billet alternator, 2 Optima rear mounted batteries with battery disconnect switch. PPE Dual Fueler, Garret ball bearing turbo, 4" stainless exhaust, heavy duty trans cooler, oversized intercooler, PPE Allison Stage V transmission with billet torque converter, 12" tubbed rear bed to accommodate wider rear tires, includes full set of racing tires and Aluminum wheels. All sheet metal removed from frame, sand blasted and freshly painted, frame and rear ladder bars boxed for added strength, Power Steering and hydro boost master cylinder with front and rear disc brakes.
