1976 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan. This is a rare hardtop model. It has 33,085 original miles. I bought the car in 2007 from the second owners with 29,000 original miles. (elderly owned). Since 2007 it has been regularly washed, waxed, detailed, serviced, stored in an enclosed carport and cared for to the utmost. This car runs and drives like I imagine it did off the showroom floor in 1976. I have had the carburettor recently rebuilt, new 2 and 1/2" exhaust from the manifold back (2010), including a new muffler. New rear shocks (2013), new tune up (cap/rotor/plugs/wires/and coil), new tires 235/75R15, in 2008 (they have about 2,500 miles on them now) New lube, oil and filters every fall since 2007.(performed by my careful hand only) Gas stabilizer for winter storage every year. It has an after market CD stereo that works nicely. All of the windows work properly, the locks, the horn, the climate control, etc all work as if new. The exception would be the A/C. The compressor turns free, but it has never had a belt on it since I bought it. The vinyl top is original! The interior is original and in mint condition! No cracks, stains or wear of any kind, even the carpet looks untouched. This car actually still smells like a new car! The 'Mahogany Metallic' paint on the exterior is also mostly original from the factory in 1976, with the exception of some minor paint blending on the passenger rear quarter... This car has absolutely no rust anywhere! It even appears to have the factory spare that clearly has not been on the car in 40 years. I have had the car titled in my name since 2008 and registered (passing all required safety and emission tests every year since then). I have the original owners manual and paperwork. I also have the original title with a 1976 postmark. And the window sticker from the dealer when new (see pic). There should be NO disappointments with this car. It is in excellent original condition. Having said that it is almost 40 years old so it is clearly NOT in new condition. I have described this car with full disclosure.
