1970 Hemi Cuda Convertible Tribute This car is part of my private collection. It is a tribute to the rarest and most desirable muscle car ever built. Only (14) 1970 Hemi Cuda Convertibles were ever built. Of those only 5 were four speed cars. This car underwent a complete, three year, $180,000 nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. Everything was either new or rebuilt. It then went on to win the Mopar Nationals. This 1970 Cuda started life as a factory, lemon twist yellow, 4 speed, convertible. It was then converted to be identical to a Hemi car using a date coded, period correct drive train. The only difference is this car did not come from the factory with the Hemi and about $2,500,000. This is a #1, National show car. It was built to enter and win at the highest caliber shows. This is NOT a modernized version of a Hemi Cuda. It drives like a brand new factory Cuda off the showroom floor but is highly detailed and perfected. There have been several tribute cars done over the years but this one is superior to any I have seen. Most are done with modern drive trains which is less expensive but often more practical. I wanted my car to be as original as possible (although the body gaps and paint quality far exceed what was available in 1970). I believe the car that is the most original will bring the most money now and in the future. I have hundreds of pictures taken during and after the restoration. If you are interested and a qualified buyer email me and I will happily forward them to you. My car has about 110 miles on it since the restoration was completed. Cuda is stored in my climate controlled garage. I have a lift in my garage should you like to inspect underneath. date coded and period correct 426 Hemi motor Hemi 4 speed, pistol grip shifter, Hemi 16 spline transmission Body stripped to bare metal, all steel, gaps perfect and correct, $20,000 lemon twist yellow paint applied Complete Hemi K member Dana 60 , vintage correct rear 3.55 "sure grip" differential 6 way manual seat complete inspection marks shaker hood original black convertible top and boot Go Wing 15x7 rally wheels with new, period correct tires factory 8 track player Rally gauges Hemi torsion bars and torque boxes I reserve the right to end the auction early Inspections are welcome prior to auction ending Buyer is responsible for pick up and delivery but I will gladly assist
