RARE 1972 AMC JAVELIN SST 360 V-8 - ORIG PIERRE CARDIN INTERIOR The Pierre Cardin edition of the Javelin was only offered in 1972-73 and only 4,152 were made! This is a very rare model in the most popular color and in great condition! NADA places the value of this car as high as $33,125. This car is in great shape. The psychedelic Pierre Cardin Interior is all original. The front seats are a bit faded, but the back seats and headliner are very vibrant. It has all it's special Pierre Cardin badges on the outside and on the inside. The car is entirely original inside with all the dash gauges working, the air blowing cold, and radio. The car has been repainted in it's original wild plum color with white stripes. It is a very nice paint job. The chrome rack on the back was dealer installed. Chrome is in good condition, some pitting but nothing major for a car of it's age. The car originally had a white vinyl top. It has been removed at some point and the top of the car has been painted white in it's place. It was like this when we purchased the car 9 years ago and we never got around to replacing the white vinyl. Cosmetically, that is pretty much the only thing that needs to be done to this car to make it fantastic! The engine is a 360 V-8 and runs well. We have replaced the heater core and redone the "U" joint. This is a true muscle car so you can definitely hear it coming! The car has not been driven much in the past year...and I would recommend replacing all four tires before driving it. They are not in good shape. Please remember that this is a 43 year old car. We've done our best to describe any and all defects that we are aware of at the time of this listing.
