Automatic91,899 miles I have had this car for a few years and it has been sitting in storage for all that time. It has been driven a few times a year for a few runs but nothing more. I purchased this car a few years back.. 3 maybe 4 years ago. It was starting to show signs of head gasket failure and I had to save it... and I have this problem with saving every single car I come across. So with 39 cars in the stable, I need to let this one go. I like it, its nice, but it will never get restored. It runs and drive great, but needs cosmetic work. A/C works great, engine, transmission, brakes, suspension are all dialed in and it drives nice. But having it sit in my garage for 6-9 months at a time is not what it needs. Being a first year is what drew me to it. Now its time to go. Engine: New head gasket, professionally done a few years back (about 200 miles ago). Injectors cleaned. All new upper end seals, valve guides, complete recondition of the head. Starts immediately, runs smooth and quiet, good power, no smoke. Transmission:Rebuilt prior to my owner ship around 88,000 miles. Shifts smooth, no slip. Suspension:New struts and shocks. No front end play. Alignment done. Tires have good tread but are 10 years old and are hard. Wheels have clear coat issues. Several places where it has failed, spidering under the clear in several places. Brakes work fine, no leaks. E-brake works good. Body:Repaint several years ago, not the best. Chips in places, some cracking. Surface rust in places, around rear tail light, rear window, few places along side window, right side door jamb. No structural rust at all. Solid all around. Paint on bumpers is cracking. RF fender has leading edge scrapes, missing trim. Rear Supra key cover on hatch is missing. Grill, tail lights are good. Windshield has a crack in it. RH mirror is loose on its base. Electrical:Wipers will not shut off, needs a new relay. I bought one, just have to find it. Oil pressure gauge does not work. New sender and still no luck. All the other gauges work fine. Radio works but the volume knob is fussy. Have not tried the cruise or the cassette player. All the lights work. Clock works when it wants to. Power windows work fine. Heat / AC:Climate control works fine. A/C works, old R12 system. Fan works but does not seem to blow lots of air. Interior:No cracks on the dash. Carpet is good, but needs a cleaning. Back seats are good, some sun damage to the top edges. Front seats are worn through in places. Door panels are all good. Nothing has been cut or modified inside. Car is located in Seattle.
