I pulled this 1972 911e out of a dry warehouse here in Virginia, where it sat for 32 years. It had been brought back from Germany by a U.S. Serviceman. Prior owner didn't like the original Bright Silver color and had semi stripped the paint - and never got around to completing the project. As for me, I've built and restored many 911's over the years, and one of my builds was featured in "Excellence" Magazine. I can provide references from people who have purchased Porsche 911s that I've built. I have the original engine & MFI for the car. Engine top end torn down for inspection & appears to be in great shape. Original MFI has a rebuilt Aluminum Pump and the system is in great shape. It will go with the car with "Buy it Now" Price. I will negotiate a fair price if car is bought lower than "Buy it Now" and meets my reserve. The car has real late '72 dated Fuchs 9" & 11" x 15's RSR wheels shod with Michelin TB15's. These are the real deal - not weld up replicas. Rebuilt Aluminum S Brakes, 28 tube oil cooler, sunroof, new headliner, dash, fuel pump, brake & fuel lines - everything on the car has been gone over, re-plated, rebuilt, re-bushed or re-painted. 911SC Torsion bars with stock front and rear sway bars - Giving the car a firm ride without being too jarring. Rebuilt Koni struts in front and new Koni shocks in the back. Early 930 Aluminum trailing arms. Seats and door panels done by Vintage Seats with English wool tartan plaid. There is too much to list - but, happy to talk more and email more details and photos. The Tub had 33,000 miles on it when I started it's transformation. I've put about 1000 miles on the car. Engine has only a couple thousand miles on it since it's build. The 915 tranny was rebuilt with a billet center bearing carrier and is absolutely buttery smooth. New Sachs aluminum sport clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. Buyer responsible for shipping, but I am happy to help with logistics.
