1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air III 4-speed Convertible Up for sale by a private party is this beautiful GTO convertible. It is a TRUE and original GTO, 4 speed, Ram Air III, convertible, in its original colors of “triple blackâ€. According to my research less than 250 of these cars were built and this particular Pontiac was produced in month of January 1969 in the Baltimore, MD facility. The only exception to this Ram Air III GTO is the original 400 c.i. engine which was replaced with a date correct fully rebuilt, balanced, and blueprinted, 1969 Pontiac 428 c.i. / 390 h.p motor (see specs below for rebuild). This car underwent a total reconditioning in 2009 which included; a new 2-stage black paint job; new convertible top & boot; rebuilt engine, drive line, and suspension; all new weather stripping and molding. Car is solid and rust-free throughout, all of glass is in perfect condition. After all the work had been performed, the owner drove the car less than 100 miles, due to personal reasons. This “Weekend Warrior†has never been abused nor driven in bad weather. Receipts for all of the work performed are included. Here are some of the specifics.
