Relisted due to non-communicating buyer We are delighted to offer for sale this fabulous 1965 Pontiac GTO The car will feature on the TV show "Wheeler Dealers" in the first episode of a new series filmed in the USA This is a genuine GTO with PHS documentation to prove In our ownership, we have fitted a new bespoke radiator with twin fans, reinstated the original air conditioning system with many new parts, fitted a rebuilt steering gearbox, carried out much electrical work, plus lots lots more besides The car was resprayed in original Fontaine Blue, while the frame and floorpan is absolutely perfect underneath and is presented in a stunning condition far better than new- the result of a thorough restoration of the frame by a previous owner. Youâll be welcome to see this for yourself when you come and view The original engine has been replaced with a 400 unit fitted with Tri-power, mated to the original Powerglide transmission and 3:08 differential, and drives perfectly The interior is exceptionally smart and refitted to a very high quality The chromework, trim, wheels, seals, glass etc are all excellent In summary, you will have to go a long way to find a more solid GTO for the money, plus with it's forthcoming TV debut, you are bound to get extra attention wherever you go!
