In 1972 Plymouth merged the GTX and Road Runner into one model. The combination lasted to 1974 with low build numbers for the entire 3 years of production. This is one of the 749 cars built in 1973. This car is unique in its complete documented history and collector ownership it's entire 53,000 mile life. Built in Oct 72 as a special order dealer "BRASS HAT CAR", it's got all the convenience features excepting power windows. The window sticker shows base car of $3,000 and nearly $2000 in options. It carries Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Steering, along with performance rear axle, sport wheels, deluxe bucket seat/console interior and stereo radio. It has a modern CD player in the glove box. It's numbers matching, of course, and with all the historical documentation and options is an excellent investment grade car. Condition at this time is excellent with an recent extensive mechanical restoration (mostly leaks) along with new tires.
