This is an original, un-touched 1965 T-Bird. The car is a 1 family-2 owner (father & son) car until I rescued it about 3 months. It is a non-air car that began it's life in New Jersey and in 1990 moved to Lucas, Tx. The car runs and drives and is registered as an Antique vehicle. The engine is strong, but does have exhaust leaks at both manifolds. The exhaust system has been replaced. The body is straight but there has been previous paint work and it is in need of a paint. The heater core is bypassed. The interior is in very good condition with the swing away wheel in good working order. The power windows work except for the passenger door. The glass is all good. There is minimal rust on the bottom of the right quarter but the rust is limited to less than 5% of the car. The floor pans and trunk are all solid, as seen in the under carriage pictures. The tires have good tread but a very old Sears brand and need to be replaced. What I did to the car to put it up and running is cleaned the fuel tank, replaced the plugs and wires cap and rotor, fuel filter, changed the oil and filter, rebuilt both front wheel disc brake calipers, replaced several light bulbs. The sequential turn signals work. I also replaced the alternator and put the original alternator in the trunk. It also comes with original jack and spare tire mount in the trunk. This car is ready for restoration but can be driven as it stands with some new tires. It comes with a clear Texas title and a letter from the owner that it is a 1 family owned car and the miles are original.
