This is a restomodders dream. I purchased this 1967 Mustang Convertible with a removable Fastback roof as a completed car. I have no garage space or time for projects. This car runs and drives but needs some more work. The car tracks straight and brakes straight, has good steering response and a nice ride. The 5-Speed transmission shifts very responsive and smooth. There has < 200 miles on the rebuilt engine and 5 speed transmission. The engine needs some tweaking and has the potential to be a beast. There are no fluid leaks, or smoke. It will overheat in traffic and would benefit from better fan set-up. The underside is mostly new sheet metal, with great frame rails, strong torque boxes and undercarriage. The panels on this car are great fit and are straight REMOVABLE FASTBACK TOP: The only modification this true convertible had to undergo to accept this fastback top is (2) existing holes behind the rear seat had to be enlarged (not even noticeable with the rear seat installed). The roof is about 75 pounds and can easily be installed/removed. The best of all mustang worlds: fastback, convertible, or coupe (soft top). You decide.
