1962 MGA 1600 ROADSTER Restoration Project Bought the car as a restoration project, and started to work, life changes forces sale. I have the Pink Slip and it is currently Non-Opt Registration Odometer shows 13213 miles, cannot confirm accuracy Overall a clean, straight project car Original color white, was repainting light blue (also a stock color) - Paint has peeling and issues, will need a complete paint job Body appears to have surface rust, especially at seams where front fenders meet hood. Rocker panel has been replaced and rust fixed on on the passenger side. I have the replacement rocker for the drivers side as well (purchased from Moss Motors). Convertible top was destroyed, but has the original Frame Work Master Cylinder ports were a bit over reamed , will need to be addressed Front valance has been removed and bodywork was started. Frame appears straight Has both side removable slid windows Has both bumpers and luggage rack, all will need re-chroming . Has both seats that are in usable condition I have all original parts, some have been removed but will be included (Please refer to photos) As parts / nuts/ bolts were removed, they were placed in plastic bags and labeled 2 Brand New Batteries - Car has power, but will need electrical work. Does not start. Was last running/driven about 6 years ago. Motor turns over by hand and is not frozen Oil is clean. 5 Original spoked wheels - but are dirty and have rust. Motor turns so not locked up Solid Floor boards Includes some other odds and ends - everything is included in one package Currently stored indoors, at a body shop that CAN complete the restoration for the future owner if so desired.
