1966 Volkswagen Beetle 1600cc DP motor 12 volt Sexy Build This is a dream VW Bug, its an amazing feeling driving this around, its got very low miles on the build. Its very fast and peppy, handles like a little go cart with these brand new wider tires. Its low but doesn't scrape on these LA speed bumps and rides just a tad firmer then stock. Interior is brand new and still smells new. The interior was redone in saddle color. Works very well and pops with the Off-white exterior. The interior has lots of padding for sound insulation to keep outside noise at a minimum. But you can still hear the throaty exhaust of the 1600cc DP motor. Seats where not only reupholstered but frames where rebuilt and reinforced and tracks redone, to insure proper seat adjustment. And tight fight when sitting or taking a corner. Steering is tight and has sway Bar up front, still is drum brakes but are very tight and sensitive. Throttle is peppy and pulls through in any gear. Engine has got low miles since rebuilt as well as transmission. New Gas tank, Paint, Interior, Rubbers, Tires, wheels. Pan is very clean and solid, no rust or bends at all nor any place on the bug. Holes had been welded shut not bondo so no cracking could appear, through paint.
